It is unfortunate, however the support from the public has been on a constant decline since our troops were pulled out of Iraq and although there are literally hundreds of thousands disabled veterans and families in need of assistance we are no longer able to accommodate all of their needs throughout the States as we have in the past. If you are a disabled veteran with a rating of 30% or more and your immediate family is in need of financial assistance and you reside in the States of MD, DC, VA, FL, OH, TX, CA or WV please call us to apply for assistance. We will continue to provide support to the families we have assisted in the past, the many service members of the 1st Battalion 3rd Marine Corps on a case by case basis as long as we have funds available. Please call for an application or contact your local VA or check our resource page for links to other possible resources. We hope to be able to open our assistance Nationwide should circumstances change. Surviving Financial Application |

The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund was founded after 911 after the founder's youngest son joined the military and was deployed to Iraq. He served proudly alongside other 82nd Airborne brothers and sisters who were deployed in the first "wave". The initial thought was to help one or two children who had suffered the loss of a parent attend college; that was then 2003 and this is now. "Although my son never lived long enough to marry or have children of his own, he never even wore our logo on our first tee shirts, never accepted any credit or recognized the impact that his service and sacrifices overseas made on our lives here at home his memory will forever be embedded in the families we serve" said Becky Campbell, a proud 82nd Airborne Mom. "My son was killed here at home after the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund was founded and it was my military families that helped me through my grief and loss, God knew I would bury my son he knew I would have to struggle through my life feeling a loss so very painful, she continues, He knew the pain I would feel and led me to find my passion in this life. It is painfully devastating burying your heart, burying your dreams of what your loved one's could have or what could have been, what life they could have had and shared; it is my love for him, his dedication to serve so that others could live their lives in Freedom that gets me through each day". "The pain and sorrow we feel each day does begin to lessen I learned from my families those that I treasure daily that with time some of our tears do turn to wonderful memories it takes time and no one can tell us when our time is right" . Every day and every time I help my families I am honoring him and remembering my Dave. Our foundation, our mission is full of love and our families deserve to realize their dreams the dreams their loved ones are not present to take part in. Our College Grant program has expanded to include spouses of our fallen as well as those whose parent or spouse has suffered a severe disability as a result of their efforts in either war.
