Alfred E. Sweeney was inspired to write “An American Dream” following his uncle’s (Eugene Sweeney) induction into the Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame. A war veteran of three wars (WWII, Korea and Vietnam) he proudly served his country and faced danger many times.
AL Sweeney, an army veteran himself, remembers how hard it was to be away from family and friends and wrote this song from the heartfelt appreciation he has for American men and women in uniform.
The Eclipse Recording Team chose Brad Cotter, Nashville Star winner to record this song. Brad brings the lyrics to life with his warmth and compassion. You can place an order through our online store and a portion of the proceeds will benefit our military and their families. Thank God For Americans In Uniform!
