B-SENS CHARITY JERSEY AUCTION

NETS NEARLY $14,000

 

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators today announced that Saturday night’s charity jersey auction, to benefit the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, raised $13,810.69.   

 

The B-Sens wore unique, patriotic jerseys on Saturday night as part of Military Appreciation night.  Each jersey was affixed with a patch that included the names and ranks of local servicemen and women that have fallen in the line of duty, either in Afghanistan or Iraq. 

 

The game worn jerseys were auctioned off live immediately after the game. 

 

The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, Inc. was founded, October 23, 2003 to help support surviving U.S. Military children who have lost a parent in the Afghanistan or Iraq wars by providing them with college grants.
